The Rainbow I Couldn’t See Until I Looked Up
When I keep my eyes lowered to the ground,
the world feels narrow, and my spirit feels bound.
But when I gently lift my gaze to the sky,
colours awaken in me, rising soft and high.
Rainbows never appear when I’m looking down—
they wait in the light above my worry and frown.
So I look up now, with a quiet, hopeful sigh—
for that is where my lost dreams learn to fly.
