The Song the Waves Whisper
The Song the Waves Whisper
I love the ocean waves, not for their tall crests shining like silver crowns,
Nor for their deep falls rolling down like tired giants to the shore.
I love them for the grace with which they rise again,
Lifting themselves like soft blue birds learning to fly once more.
Every fall folds into the water like a wounded dream, finding rest,
Every rise blooms like a newborn sunrise, shaking off its night.
They teach me that strength is not in never falling,
But in rising again… gentle, steady, and full of hope.
