The Missing Diamond Ring
It was a precious diamond ring. It had gone missing in the morning, and she couldn’t control her emotions. This ring was specially gifted by her husband a few years back on Valentine’s Day to express his love. Since then, she has been protecting it with utmost care and respect.

However, she couldn’t find it from the morning and was stressed that she couldn’t eat or speak with anybody about it. Her eyes then rested on the maid cleaning the house. “Ah… What if she had stolen the ring?” a thought flashed in her mind, and she watched the maid’s behaviour minutely.
Doubts and Guilt
The maid’s behaviour, talking, mannerisms, laughs, and everything else clearly indicated that she was the culprit and that the ring should be in her possession.
The maid had been a trusted companion all these years and had been working in their home since their marriage.
