Ignatious Antony, a visionary technocrat, has embarked on an extraordinary journey of engineering brilliance!

Deeply rooted in the prestigious Indian Space Research Organisation, his career saw him excel as the Deputy Director at the Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC) in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.

Post-retirement, his professional adventure continued as the Technical Vice President at a renowned Electronics System R&D organisation. For the past decade, he’s been passionately mentoring a dynamic team of professionals, young engineers, and highly talented technocrats.

As a highly esteemed Professional Engineer, Ignatious has led significant teams and pioneered the development and certification of avionics systems for ISRO’s ambitious rocket launches.

His invaluable contributions to developing mission computers, GNC systems, and other avionics systems for ISRO’s launch vehicles are legendary. He also served as the Chief of the Quality Assurance Entity at Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre, ISRO, showcasing his unwavering commitment to excellence.

His personal and professional life is a tapestry woven with threads of remarkable encounters—interactions with successful professionals, engineers, rocket scientists, business executives, leaders, senior administrative personnel, and highly skilled launch vehicle technicians. As a space scientist, Ignatious has gained firsthand insights into the lives of highly talented and successful individuals and those whose stars have not shone as brightly.

These diverse interactions ignited a profound curiosity within him, driving Ignatious to unravel the enigma of success. His philosophy, “Excellence is everywhere. You see only what you look for. Ignatious is also a prolific writer who has presented numerous technical papers at national and international conferences. His extensive travels, both within the country and abroad, have further enriched his perspectives.

He has about 50 years of personal Experience in Leadership, Management, Administration, Industrial Engineering, and Professional Psychology.

He is a Good Teacher and an excellent Storey Teller too.

He is the Vice President (Technical) of a High-Tech Electronics R&D and Production Centre at Technopark, Thiruvananthapuram. Ignatious Antony resides with his loving wife in the serene city of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Together, they cherish their two children’s joy and their three grandchildren’s boundless energy.
